Hey everyone,

Here is your chance to brag on Jesus.  Please take a few minutes and write down how God moved in your life.  I would love to hear from as many of you as possible.

Grace and Peace,

Matt

God did great things silently in my life this weekend. He really allowed me to listen and to hear Him more than talk and be heard. I really learned how to fear the Lord and the true meaning of that. Revelation 3:16 realy stuck out to me this weekend because in my bible (holman christian standard bible) it says “So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am going to vomit you out of My mouth.” God hates we are satisfied with just being lukewarm, picking which days we will live for Him and which days we will live for the the world so much that he will vomit us out of His mouth! He is so jealous for us. He wants all of us or nothing at all.

This being my third year as a leader I was super excited to see what God was up to in the lives of the students! Saturday night during the worship time, I realized that I was looking for results. Though results are great, that is not why we were there. As I looked around the room, I saw some of the girls I had the past two years. It was awesome to see that they have grown into beautiful Godly young women. I want to encourage you all to seek Christ every morning you wake up. You never know what God has planed for you that day.

I had never heard of a DNow until about a year ago and obviously had never been to one. I would see friends from college going off every weekend to go to one near and far at different churches. Like many that came to the DNow at Vaughn Forest had something planned but plans end up changing for them to make it to the DNow and that was the same for me. Things like this do not happen for no reason at all so I took the opportunity and opened up to what God was revealing to me. God showed me things in my life that I had feared and stuggled with were going to be resolved soon. Just this past week I was given the solution. For all those that were at the DNow, may it because a friend invited you or just wanted something to do for the weekend, just know that God was trying to show you something and if you missed it, I’m sorry. I’ve been there and missed it but God always gives second chances so look for that second chance and don’t miss it. I just want to say thanks to Vaughn Forest allowing me to come and help out. I loved it and will miss all 600 of you! God bless ya’ll!
